This was taken from a 45 year old black female, who initially presented with a high grade breast cancer at the age of 33, and underwent aggressive chemotherapy/ with preservation of breast tissue with clinical complete resolution/eradication of breast cancer; the tumor is represented of a new primary or recurrent high grade breast cancer years later, which could have been prevented by recommendation of bilateral mastectomies as is currently the recommended standard of care in breast cancer that are tripple negative for receptor markers,and show BRCA-1 gene mutation.
